G.I. Beach

Now the name sounds pretty cool (I don't know if this the right spelling, but it sounds like "G.I."), but if you are not a surfer then probably this beach is probably not so great. It is, however, more secluded than the other beaches. To get to G.I. beach you need to go down a small road that braches off the "bypass" which is blatantly not a bypass and nobody uses it. Anyway the " bypass" has a toll get on in and costs ¥100 (I think). But you don't need to pay this as there is just one gate and if you come the right way you don't need to go through the gate. The "bypass" is signposted at the south just as you enter Hyuga, but if you go this way you'll have to pay the toll. If you come from the north of Hyuga you don't need to pay the toll. If you come from the north, just follow the signs for Umagase off route 10. When you pass Jusco just keep going straight. The road down to the beach is just before the toll gate and on the seaside (funnily enough!). The last time I went down the road it was a bit rough, I wouldn't go down in little car.
